Insulin in the blood stream takes quite a while to metabolize. So I think fiber bound to the net carbs really does matter. I think if you look at the insulin in the blood 2 hours after sucking down a juice vs. eating the fruit the juice will provoke a high insulin response thus triggering your body to store fat long sfter it was consumed.
It’s kind of thought provoking though… I would guess that even with a <20gr net carb intake it’s best to spread it out rather than all in one sitting. Although even 20gr in one sitting shouldn’t really provoke much of an insulin response
