For decades, our public health leaders have dispensed deadly dietary advice. That needs to change. Many doctors, myself included, have seen with our own eyes how low-carb diets help patients lose weight, reverse their diabetes and improve their cholesterol.
Yes. And far too few. But at least the truth is coming out - slowly but steadily.
The way I’ve been putting it, there isn’t a health care crisis, there’s a health crisis. Only a few outliers like us want to talk about it. There’s no magic pill for the metabolic disorders that crowd the waiting rooms in doctor offices.
I think I’ve mostly figured out what it takes to have the optimal benefits of pre industrial health and fitness. It’s not horribly expensive but it is time consuming and arduous. We were built for good food and a hard life. Both need to be in place and that message isn’t so popular even on this forum.
