Can't find topic on losing too much (lol)

Don,

I lost my extra kilograms very easily since started 2 meal a day keto, despite carrying that weight for decades. What it is saying to you ?

It seems unlikely to me that you have an insulin resistance problem. I think extra protein will be fine for you if your goal is to maintain weight. That said, I’m not a doctor or an expert on the subject.

Thanks for posting this! My husband began keto for different reasons. He needs to lose weight and I am recovering from cancer treatments and want to get healthy. My husband has already dropped 25 pounds in 25 days, which is amazing! I am 5’4" and I have dropped to 114 pounds. I definitely can’t afford to drop anymore. Great advice on this thread for me! Good luck.

First time I gained some weight by two day rounded result.
Seems your advices working, or I make my conclusions too early.

@muda

HWC stands for heavy whipping cream. It’s 821kcal per cup. If all else fails, make yourself some keto ice cream. That will get the job done for sure:

That’s great! What changes have you made?

(muda) #27

HWC - that I can do a lot for sure

I dont worry about more protein intake anymore and eat cottage cheese. I exercise every day , but not too much.
Also Increased on berries and eat one small underripe kiwi a day. Included bulletproof coffee.
Now main question if I get my energy increased or decreased after all that adjustment.
Guess only time will tell.

I hope you’ll keep us posted. Even if it is your n=1 and not necessarily applicable to everyone, it’s still valuable and interesting!

(muda) #29

I’ll do my best.

Just for update.
I am continuing on measures that we discussed earlier, but having to struggle hard to keep my weight. It tends to drop every day a little bit.

Lets see how it goes for some more time. May be my body really wants to be lighter …

I don’t think your body wants to be lighter, but it may have found a few unnecessary fat storages. BMI is one of the most useless ways to measure health. What you should be concerned about is your lean body mass. Make sure to eat what your muscles need, and if you exercise, do something heavy and as full body as possible to trigger muscle gain.

You might also have to shed the extra that’s still in the wrong places befire your body is willing to build up storages in better places. My brother’s body did that, went awfully underweight before going up a little to stabilise. He lost fat in places you wouldn’t think about, and later added some back in places where it looks good.

How much HWC are you taking a day?

(muda) #33

Thanks Taka,

That very valuable information.

(muda) #34

3/4 a cup whipped + some berries.
