Can someone help me find nutrition facts on this wine?

Cooper’s Hawk vin chocolat noir. It’s the only wine I like. It’s not found in their nutrition facts PDF, I guess because they don’t sell it all the time… and the ONLY source I can find with any nutrition is MyFitnessPal, but who knows who entered that in there. I kind of want another source. :frowning: Anyone else ever heard of this wine and somewhere found the nutrition facts?

The wine industry is exempt from a full accounting of their ingredients, quite unlike every other food industry in the USA.

I strongly recommend you check out this Diet Doctor podcast:

I’ve rather dramatically lost my taste for wine after hearing about what a policy problem this is for we consumers.

thanks, I’ll check that out! I generally don’t drink wine because I don’t even like it. Also, I try to stay as close to zero carb as possible and wine is definitely not part of that plan. But my husband got me this wine for Christmas because I found out I did like it when I tried a sip somewhere, and now I’m afraid to drink it… lol… but if it turns out it does only have 5 carbs, then, sure, I’ll slowly go through the bottle over a course of time…

We’re all different. That said, if I were you, (I zealously watch my carb intake) and my wife gifted me wine that wasn’t some cheap junk, I’d enjoy an 8 oz glass every other day with dinner until I was finished.

It’s classed as a sweet dessert wine:

According to this website, this wine is made from Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel grapes:

Each of these 3 grape types produces wine that has approx 4 grams of carbs per 5-ounce glass. I’ll let you look those up for yourself.
