Came off Keto, got wrist tendinitis - connection?

#1

As per the title… I came off Keto and got wrist tendinitis in my left wrist (right handed).

The odd thing is that it manifested itself from nothing, no injury no repetitive action etc.

I’m curious now if there is a connection here…

After coming off Keto the first thing I did was hit the potato! I’m sure we all know tatties to be king of the GI charts, which can in turn have implications on inflammation. But this is where my understanding ends…

Would it be possible to get it so severe, so soon (within 48 hours)? Could this be a historical injury that has flared up as a result of the diet change (I’ve taken a few bike wipe-outs before)?

My plan is to treat the symptoms (ice & rest) and also take in some foods that might help the inflammation (turmeric and …dunno?). If this doesn’t help after three weeks I might dip back into Keto as an experiment to see if it heals it.

I’m asking here for some scientific feedback on the feasibility of my situation i.e. has coming off Keto buggered my wrist, or is not possible/very unlikely and it is just con-incidence.

Look forward to hearing some feedback - cheers
