Calorie deficit caused stall?

#1

My calorie daily goals is 1750. Ive been only consuming on 1000 calories but in the proper Micro nutritional guidelines, average 30 carbs per day. I’ve dropped 30 pounds and have been hanging at 186-188 for 40 days. My ultimate goal is 175. I’m feeling great and have since I’ve started this way of eating. Or should I just keep kcko?

More likely related to eating when not hungry, since you say you feel great, with no negative metabolic effects.

I’m not a CICO fan at all but that’s pretty drastic, your a good fat bomb away from eating HALF your recommended intake!

You can put the correct gas in your car all day long, but if you need 10 gallons, and only put in 6 your gonna have a problem!

Unless you wake up and never move I say 1000 calories is way to little for almost anybody. It MAY be worth getting some metabolic testing to see what your actually need (usually cheap enough). No doubt it’s less than when you were 30lbs heavier but a couple months at that much of a deficit can slow down your BMR. If that is the case better to get it back up to normal than to roll with it.

The slowing of the BMR makes sense. Sometimes the body may be smarter than the boss. I’ll eat a little more to weigh a little less! Off hand what is the test I would ask for to check my BMR?
