I posted on Facebook that I found jalapeno bacon and some neighbors mentioned they’d had it at the Iowa Bacon Festival (Iowa is a great place to live!) and loved it but had been told it wasn’t sold in Iowa. What is one to do?! Deliver some jalapeno bacon to their mailbox of course! They were very grateful and dubbed me the Bacon Fairy. Which is nice, but I’ve always kind of wanted to be a princess. They were kind enough to agree that henceforth I am to be called :bacon:Princess Bacon. No need to bow.

I am in Iowa as well and the Bacon festival was last Saturday and totally forgot about it. My boss went to it and said it was 15 dollars to get in and he ate a ton of bacon, twice. It would have been an hour drive for me to get to Clear Lake but it would have been worth it.
