Does anyone know anything about high CRP being caused by eating too much protein, which enhances clotting mechanisms and can lead to stroke? I have a medical friend that thinks a family member met her demise this way. I thought the reason the dudes recommend moderate protein was to ultimately keep the carbs lower, since excess can be converted into carbs for storage. Are there other reasons too?

Interesting. I will follow the thread. If it is a big issue, I may start tracking as so far I have only really paid attention to carbs.
