Bye-bye Bai?

caffeine

Have noticed how a lot of people love the Bai brand drinks…I’ve seen the commercial on tv (love that one, doesn’t take much to crack me up, lol) so when I saw it at Sam’s the other day I purchased a case of the antioxidant infusion version. Tried the watermelon & pomegranate flavors so far and really like them but noticed this morning that they have caffeine! I avoid caffeine due to a heart condition (afib) so was really disappointed when I saw that, guess I’ll be giving those away. Does anyone know if there are similar drinks that are caffeine-free?

Bai also has caffeine free drinks. Go with LaCroix!

Caffeine doesn’t bother my Afib so I guess I’ll drink yours.

Powerade Zero and Sobe Lifewater are alternatives

LaCroix for the win! I have a sodastream and still by tons of LaCroix

I really like the LaCroix flavors too, have been drinking those as an alternative to my caffeine-free Diet Coke- but was just wanting something with a little more flavor (although the longer I’m keto, the better they taste). Will check out the Sobe for sure. And I have a SodaStream, don’t know why haven’t thought of trying that!

I drank a Bai Ipanema Pomegranate this morning and within minutes was in afib and rushed to the emergency room. I’ve written the manufacturer about the incident and will discontinue all use of the product.

I am a green tea drinker, and while Bai compares itself to green tea, it is not green tea. Additionally, its use of artificial sweeteners adds another ingredient suspect for those of us who are life long cardio patients.

Avoid.

Welcome, and thanks for posting the warning (although I’m not a cardio patient). I’ve never tried Bai, personally.

I hope you’re recovering well from your unfortunate episode.

I love Bai. The amount of caffiene is pretty small. I can drink it before bed without issue.
