I have lost 80kg 170lbs in 18mths and was stalled for the last few months. I decided to go dairy free for the month of February.
I have lost 7kg 15lbs in the 28 days.
You need a change after 2 years of Keto you body adjust. I was not adjusting my intake for my loss in body weight or fat content.
In this month I am doing two to three meals a day not fasting and still lost the weight.
I ride 200km a week to and from work that hasn’t changed.
The only thing is the total removal of dairy.
i will see if this changes as I contiune
Breaking a stall
Nothing, I cut cream and cheeses. I still have butter so technically not all dairy.
but just cooked without it and no BPC for the month I was having two a day before.
I think I hadn’t adjusted for the loss of body weight and fat make up of my body since I lost so much weight. My body didn’t need as much from the outside.
That almost sounds like you are consuming less now in general as a result, which could mean weight loss too.
I’m eating more I used to do OMAD, now mostly 3 meals a day. so I ahve uped my intake. This has suprised me.
I stopped consuming dairy Monday (3 days ago), looking forward to seeing the results.
similar to you I have lost a good amount of weight and things have been very static for a while. Interested to see the results. Dairy free March here we come.
Was the 2-3 meals a day something that’s new? The reason I ask is that I started breaking a stall last week by switching to 3 meals a day (all keto, of course) and the weight is flying off. Like you I do a lot of distance training - 70-80 miles a week running. I have a lot of milk protein but have always avoided the milk sugars. So, butter and cream and some dry crumbly cheeses made of cream and no milk or soft cheeses made with milk.
It was an extra usually 2 sometimes 1 but I was feeling more hungry as I wasn’t getting the fate from the cheese or cream. I think it restarted my metabolism. I’m going to keep going and see where it leads. Good luck with your March.
