Hi! I started this diet today (Was doing slimfast before which was doing me in!) I think I have a wheat intolerance, just waiting for results of an intolerance blood test. I’m always lethargic with no energy and get worn out and tired very easily.
Anyway, this morning I had cheese, ham and a boiled egg for breakfast. Come lunch time i wasn’t even a little bit hungry - I’m normally starving by 10.30. I ate my lunch around 2.30 (chicken salad with avocado and mozerella) and now its 6.30 and I’m not even close to being hungry which is great!
The thing is, I’ve also had more energy today and been way less bloated - is this just psychosomatic or is it possible to feel effects this quickly?
My other questions are:
What does ‘in ketosis’ actually mean?
What does fat adapted mean?
I’m sure I’ll think of more! But that’s it for now… many thanks!
