I’m feeling a bit blue at the mo (don’t think it’s the start of another depressive episode, really hope not) and the old part of my brain is telling me to just “treat” myself to chips & beans with bread & butter, or even any other sort of carbage just to cheer myself up, the new keto part of my brain is pointing out that’s a truly rubbish idea. Hoping I can keep it together & KCKO, especially as the just thought of chips, beans, bread & butter in one meal is no longer in any way appealing.

Try a pinch or two of salt, and make sure you’re hydrated. My cravings are easier to deal with when I’m not thirsty and I have enough electrolytes. It probably won’t get rid of the cravings completely, but it should make them a lot easier. Also, do you have any fatty snacks handy? I like pork rinds, almonds, and pepperoni, not to mention whole-milk or double-cream yoghurt (and putting some blueberries in it might help assuage your sweet tooth).
