Starting weight 70.4kg
I have been within a range of +/- .5kg around 70g for at least 3 weeks. I am at the top end of where I am happy to maintain for good so I don’t really expect or desire to lose more weight but I could potentially drop another 6 say as I have been at 63 (briefly) last year. I suppose what I am saying is that it is unlikely for me to suddenly start dropping weight spontaneously! I am expecting to stay maintaining and not to gain.

Today’s BG - 5.7
This varies a fair amount actually within about 4.7 to 5.9 in the last few months. Various factors impact it I think - food (probably the least actually), sleep and stress.

I always take both the above in the morning before I eat/drink.

So it has been a week. 2T of coconut oil every morning on top of usual food.

Weight stayed pretty well the same. Actually it went down but I move between about 69.5 and 70.5 all the time. I could have weighed in on a ‘heavy’ day and so a false reading so I call it even. End weight 69.9. I have been down to 69.4 and up to 70.1 apart from the starting 70.4.

Thoughts - It was a struggle to eat on top of food some days. Going forward, I would definitely use it as a quick breakfast if I don’t have time or am fasting say. Not so keen on continuing simply because I don’t really want to.

Conclusion - adding 2T of oil per day to usually food consumption had no impact on my weight. I did not put on the weight predicted my those who favour CICO. Boom!

Silly experiment? Probably. Do you think I care much? Point proved!

In fact, thinking about it, I may end up still doing this effectively on some days. If I leave early for work and have a heavy day lined up I will likely have oil before I go and then take lunch which I don’t normally have.

Yeah. I know it was just me and just a week but that is why I ADDED it mostly at a cost of not actually wanting my breakfast but eating it anyway. I have to say I think my mood has improved. I forgot to mention that. I am leaning towards having it as breakfast and adding lunch while out at work.

I don’t doubt your mood improved. Coconut oil is fast POWERFUL brain food.
