Book recommendations please

(Sarah Hung) #1

I recently discovered Audible books on Amazon and so for the last couple of months have been listening to books when walking places or traveling in the car.

So far I’ve ‘read’ these three books:

The Big Fat Surprise: Why Butter, Meat and Cheese Belong in a Healthy Diet by Nina Teicholz

Good Calories, Bad Calories: Fats, Carbs, and the Controversial Science of Diet and Health by Gary Taubes (Absolutely loved this book - his style of reading really talks to me.)

The Complete Guide to Fasting: Heal Your Body Through Intermittent, Alternate-Day, and Extended Fasting by Jimmy Moore and Dr. Jason Fung

Tomorrow evening I’m flying to London (13 hours!!!) Can anyone recommend a book or two to pass the time?

Thanks

I liked “The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living” by Phinney and Volek.

The Obesity Code was another good book.

The Phinney and Volek book is my favorite, but I also liked Keto-Adapted by Maria Emmerich. It’s also available in audio.

From BaconNectar’s list, I’d recommend Grain Brain by neurologist Perlmutter.
