If CICO is a myth and my BMR is 2066 how do I lose burn body fat and not dietary fat?

42% body fat with 164lbs lean mass. I’m still new and learning. Any help is appreciated.

295lbs

My goal is to lose weight and stop being a slave to big pharma. No sugar or starches of any kind for 8 weeks. Starting weight was 310lbs.

Thing is… you actually can eat fat to lose fat.

Maybe it’s an evolution thing. Your body was evolved to understand that life is horrible if you can’t eat fat, and fine if you can. If you eat a high fat diet, your body knows everything is OK and you’ll drop pounds.

That is, of course, in the absence of dietary carbohydrates, since those are a signal to your body that if you don’t get fat, you’ll freeze to death. If you eat enough of these carbs, your body will think you’re a bear about to hibernate for the winter. I’m not just being hyperbolic about “food coma,” I’m talking about diabetes as being not an illness, but a mamalian response to impending hibernation.
