Were you fasting before your blood draw? Either way the BG isn’t freak out bad, just a little elevated.

How long have you been doing keto? If not long the blood work isn’t an accurate reflection, things will change all the time and stabilize at 6 months or so.

BUN can be drastically influenced by how well you hydrated the couple of days before your blood draw. Often if you drink a bunch of water for a couple of days it will normalize. You aren’t a renal patient are you?

The potassium is a bit high, same question as above. I was on dialysis 10 years until the end of 2017. So I am familiar with some of the signs of reduced renal function. Usually creatinine, BUN and potassium would be out of whack. But your createnine looks good.

Yes i was fasting 12 hours before blood work…makes me wonder why blood sugar high. Only thing i had before blood work is 1/4 cup of coffee

Are you not doing dialysis anymore?

You’ve been at keto about 3X as long as I have, and insulin resistance seems to be a long battle for me due to elevated glucose from steroids that I take now post transplant. I have been off dialysis for 14 months and things are really starting to get in order finally after I started keto 6 months ago. You shouldn’t drink any caffeine before a triglyceride test. Recently shown to affect the results although many doctors haven’t seem to have caught the update. :cowboy_hat_face:

How soon before the bloodwork was this (for the fasting glucose)? I assume by the amount it was rather soon before, so maybe it influenced it? How soon after waking? Maybe some “dawn phenomenon”?
