Blood test costs

(Robert Morris) #1

From what I can tell blood test cost around $300 or more for a comprehensive test. Does anyone have any alternatives that are less than that?

I want to see My numbers but costs are quite high.

I think that’s going to varry widely depending on people’s insurance or lack thereof.

Not sure where you are but there are “online labs” that partner with r=brick and mortar labs and offer the tests quite a bit cheaper … as long as you’re not an insurance customer. http://requestatest.com/ was referenced on the cholesterolcode.com. website. If you google online medical labs you should find a bunch. In my area they seem ot partner with labcorp or Quest Labs. I’ll be doing my lipid profile that way in a few weeks. You pay online and they give you a voucher of sorts ot take to a local lab.

There are a few states that don’t allow such things … but the online lab websites are pretty upfront about that.
