Hey guys I have heard that there are several supplements to help with lowering blood pressure. I currently take magnesium citrate, vitamin d3, coq10, and a general multivitamin. I also take a blood pressure pill daily. I am seeing my numbers get better but I really want to come off of the bp medicine. Are there any suggestions to help with my numbers.
Blood pressure supplements
I have had good results with celery seeds (eat as is, make tea with them, or take them in supplement form).
Also herbal tea. I make a concoction of celery seeds, hibiscus, hawthorne, nettle leaf. I make a big pitcher, dump the herbs in it, let it sit, put in the fridge and drink as icetea. I usually drink about a quart of this a day, the pitchers lasts 3 or 4 days, I keep the herbs in there until I finish it.
Thank you very much. I will see if I can grab some as a supplement at my local health store.
Ubiqunol is a more bio available form of CoQ10, especially if you are over the age of 25. I’ve recently started taking garlic as allicin is supposed to have a great effect on reducing blood pressure. " In double-blind studies with garlic preparations providing a daily dose of at least 10 mg allicin, blood pressure readings dropped with typical reductions of 11 mm Hg for the systolic and 5.0 in the diastolic within a 1 to 3-month period. To get enough allicin, eat 1 to 4 cloves of fresh garlic a day."
Thank you. I will grab a garlic supplement when I go to gnc. I couldn’t eat 3 or 4 cloves a day.
