(I wriote the following on my personal blog today and wanted to share with the community. I left off any links to my blog because Its a personal and mostly Christian one and I’m not trying to promote it so don’t ask).
As much as I like the TV show “Black’ish” I was deeply irritated with the episode that I just watched concerning the lead character “Dre” (Actor Anthony Anderson) being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and then going on to repeat the same lies that have been perpetuated for years of how to deal with it and that is “medicine”, continuation of consuming sugar alongside a low-fat diet, and exercise.
Also, the dishonesty continued as they categorized the disease as only “manageable” with no mention that it is by evidence curable when a well-formed “ketogenic” (low-carb, high fat, moderate protein, no sugar (including fruit)) diet is applied to the diabetic’s life thus continuing the misinformation that has been propagated to the black’ish"masses" by “big food”, “big pharma”, “big sugar”, and the people that they “buy off” (propigating an ever growing customer base via their complicit shenanigans) our politicians, governmental agencies, medical organizations who are supposed to be advocates for our well-being like the American Diabetes Association. The American Heart Association, the FDA/USDA (and many others) all the while “we the people” continue to get sicker and sicker as the lies grow older and older and this must stop!
A black person is more than three times likely to contract diabetes but it doesn’t have to be a death sentence for them or anyone else.
Stop believing the lies, educate yourself on how to heal your body with a ketogenic lifestyle of obtaining nourishment, learn about how Dr. Ansel Keys (heart doctor who made “fat” and cholesterol the blame for heart issues) manipulated data, lied to further their agendas, and aligned themselves with the very entities that have caused this diabetic crisis in our country that I listed above when they know that the sheer mountain of evidence proofed in study after study that it is NOT fat that is or ever was the culprit but IS AND STILL IS “CARBOHYDRATE” (something that the body does NOT need to survive since our body can on its own manufacture glucose without it) which includes ALL FORMS OF SUGAR AND GRAINS is the true enemy and they give you medicine to mitigate it INSTEAD of informing you that you can eat to a standard to reverse the disease…I SHOULD KNOW SINCE IVE DONE IT!
I urge you to start your education by looking up “The Big Fat Surprise” by Nina Teicholz (information linked here: https://ninateicholz.com/about/the-book/) to understand how you’ve been lied to and how you continue to be lied to all due to money and political influence.
Also utilize the media that we often use for pure nonsense as a resource to educate yourself on the truth as people like Dr. Steve Phinney (a low carb pioneer), Dr. Eric Westman (known as the Diet Doctor linked here: https://www.dietdoctor.com/how-to-do-an-lchf-diet-dr-eric-westman), and so many others like Ivor Cummings, Professor Tim Noakes, etc., are speaking the truth and it’s slowly due to the advent of social media the truth is getting out (they can’t hide it from you anymore as long as you are not too lazy to look for it).
Listen to podcast who advocate the truth to you like "2 Keto Dudes (2ketodudes.com…also visit Ketogenic forums"the “Ketovangelist”, and other leaders of the Ketogenic movement like Jimmy Moore of the “Living La Vida Low Carb” podcasts as well as their other social media platforms which also direct you to other resources that can help.
Lastly, know that as you start looking into a ketogenic way of life that the “old guard” (including your family) who has bought into the lies (as taught to the, via our educational and media systems…not their fault) will try to dissuade you from trying to heal yourself with the truth but ask yourself this…if THEY have always been right then why is diabetes and the disease/complications that are associated with it so rampant these days?
Why is it that when the “SAD” (standard American diet…high in grains, sugars but low in fat) is introduced and implemented ANYWHERE in the world diabetes and heart disease most assuredly becomes rampant?
Why is it when one is diagnosed with a disease that by its definition tells us that our body has a problem with glucose (sugar) do our doctors and nutritionists continue to prescribe diets with SUGAR still in it via carbohydrates and fruit (natural bags of sugar…your body doesn’t have to have it since it can manufacture all of the vitamins it needS WHEN nourished properly)? (You would say a doctor should lose his/her license if they prescribe alcohol to an alcoholic or drugs to a drug addict since it could worsen their condition or kill them but nary a person bays an eye when a doctor or nutritionist prescribes more sugar to a diabetic and then gives them a pill to counteract that sugar INSTEAD of telling them to simply leave the sugar alone.)
AND…why is it that we aren’t told that it has only been since the advent of the “food pyramid” which flipped the way we eat from fatty meats and natural fat foods, low carbohydrate, and little sugar to the opposite that diabetes and heart issues have exploded in this country and in the world in countries that the SAD diet (that acronym is so appropriate) has been implemented as a way of life.
Let’s stop the madness please!!!
