Big Goals, Little Goals

#1

Six months ago my wife and I started this journey. Along the way my weight loss goal was always to just reach the next 9 (269, 259, 249…). I also had a bigger goal in mind. This morning I passed that bigger goal and now weigh under 199 (officially 197.6) for the first time in year and years and years. I still have fat to lose and I’m not sure where my weight will settle in another six months, but, all the delightful NSV’s along the way have made the achievement of this big goal almost incidental.

So, this is a virtual fist pump as much as it’s an encouragement to those of you who are just starting or struggling or wondering if you can do it. If I can , you can. Don’t ever quit.

Meanwhile, my wife continues to amaze me with her continued success. She’s down 80lbs and excited to be discovering her smaller sizes she’s been holding onto for “someday.” Well, for her, someday is here. She motivates and inspires me daily.

Well done! That’s a great achievement.

I’m with you on the small and big goals. Every kilo I lose gets a fist pump and I’m now within sight of losing 10 kilos since I started. Which will have me doing quite the happy dance!

Keep it up, you’re doing well.
