Best Peanut butter / nut butters for KETO?

Hello Keto Fam, what brands do you guys recommend for peanut butter or any nut butters? What types of nuts are best?

Macadamias. That’s about it.

If you eat them (nut butters or any nut for that matter) and don’t eat the whole jar at one time (many people have this problem), they might help. They’re high in PUFAs though.

I keep my intake of nuts in any form low. But I will have nuts or nut flours every once in a while.

The health food store near me sells ground peanuts and ground almonds. I like them both, because that way I can be sure there are no additives. But as Bob says, they are very easy to overeat.

Justin’s almond butter is fairly low. The maple and chocolate versions are a little higher carb, but are deeee-lish!

Healthline found a nice line-up of Peanut Butters; the sugar content is lower than I expected and then with the fiber you can subtract from the carbohydrates:

Almond Butter. Justin’s is the brand. 2 net carbs per two tbsp.

Any peanut butter without added sugar - check the label - ingredients should only be peanuts and maybe salt.

Smucker’s organic peanut butter has only 2 net carbs.

I don’t go with any of the fancy pants brands, just Smuckers Natural peanut butter. Ingredients list = Peanuts. I’ve done the alternative nut butters but they’re nowhere close to tasting as good IMO. I like the real thing. My only issue it stopping once I start eating it.
