I’ve seen this product at Walmart and I can believe there were cauliflower burgers and mac and cheese what a ridiculous amount of carbohydrates
Be careful others are jumping on the keto
Did you photograph the nutrition labels?
I get so frustrated with food makers that do this. There is absolutely no point to this food. People who are not on the diet will wrinkle their noses. And people on Keto who know what carbohydrates are won’t be able to eat it! Why can’t they just make honest Keto food and make bank from Rich Keto people who can afford to pack their freezers full of this?!!!

I’d say it’s intended for vegetarians. They really don’t care about carbs as much as keto people do.
Thanks for the heads up though Karla.
I’m starting to notice more and more fake keto food. They try to trick you by using cauliflower but it still fake food
I find it odd though that they promote the idea that the Mac and Cheese bowl ‘contains no pasta’ but still has wheat flour throughout the ingredients. What’s the purpose of that!? Just add the pasta already!
I think they want to make money off the keto craze as my family would say. They got a lot of products based on the keto lifestyle. They even have clothing that promote Keto in Walmart
I think you’re right.
Frustrating, tho.
Dr. Berg had a video about Cauliflower Pizza crust in the frozen food section so I looked for it. It’s half a day’s worth of carbs at 1/3 of a tiny 9" pizza. Completely pointless and exasperating.

To be fair to the ‘Tattooed Chef’ brand, I don’t think this is targeted at keto dieters though but rather organic conscious vegetarians. Vegie burgers have been a staple for vegetarians long before keto people jumped on board. If they had put ‘keto friendly’ on the packaging, it would have been a different story though.
But I wouldn’t be surprised if Walmart etc saw the product and thought, “Keto people love cauliflower, they’ll buy it!”, without doing any further research.
The market has got hip and word of Keto and now they’re using all this fake keto food. You know you’re doing keto right if you’re prepping all of your food and cooking at home. It’s a little difficult to buy your food on keto pre-made
ikr?
The prepping is exhausting.
I’ve saved the bottles from the Ranch Dressing I used to buy and now they are full of Keto Dressings. And the drinks? omg. Making several half-gallon infusions of lemon-cucumber-ginger or green tea or dandelion-ginger tea that take up space in the fridge so you can have a cool glass of something good that you can add your ACV, light salt and stevia drops to so you don’t cramp up and dehydrate… There is a long list of stuff yet to do like boil up the grass fed butter to make my own ghee and cook up all that meat in the freezer…
I actually hate cooking and I am not a foodie.
Sometimes I feel like I don’t have a life anymore.

I’ve found some Realgood brand frozen meals at a couple of my local stores. Here’s the label from the Spicy Italian Sausage wrap:
At $4 a pop it’s not an everyday thing but it’s a nice option to have on hand when I just can’t deal with cooking and I’m tired of eggs. I haven’t tried this one yet but they have a frozen chicken crust pepperoni pizza that is quite yummy.
Just a reminder to - Read Labels ALWAYS
SO MANY Products stamped w Keto friendly, Keto, low carb, paleo etc…
“LIKE” the days, low fat, reduced fat, fat free, low sugar labels
I’ve had the RealGood pepperoni pizza. It’s pretty good, and as an occasional things doesn’t seem to bad. The veggie one is rather high in net carbs though… It does make for a nice frozen pizza to have for the kids
The first advice that really stuck to me, when I had very little figured out, was ‘eat real food’. I thought about that a lot. Today basically all my calories are produce, meaning non startchy veggies, meat, fish, eggs, heavy cream. Then olive oil, vinegar and seasoning, for salad dressing. I’d love to be carnivore, tried it for 2 months, loved the food, too much, couldn’t control a raging insatiable appetite.
Blaze Pizza has a “keto” crust with 6 net carbs for a whole pizza. Also has a cauliflower crust with a ton of carbs, I think 50.
Haven’t had it yet. They were sold out when I was gonna go
