my scale has not been moving, actually I gained a few lbs on vacation and felt once I got back on keto I would lose them easily…
Not the case for two weeks I have been low in carbs, eating a package of bacon daily keeping strictly under 20… I tested, my blood every morning. I could not get past 0.3 highest 0.5 …no weight loss whatsoever…
Than I read about stalls, one keto particulate meantioned he cut out bacon and his keto level rose…
Sure enough no bacon yesterday level back up 2.8…
Just wanted to post in case anyone else had trouble with a stall and was eating lots of bacon… I also lost a 1 lb today…

I’ve had some friends have the same result. I go through about a package a week, but if I ever have a stall, I’ll probably cut it out. Finally found some good avocados so I don’t have to have all processed meat
Well a package a day is quite a bit. I’m quite sure I’d gain with that for sure.
Yes I agree however I was doing the bacon challenge and was eating over a package a day … the recommended amount…
Not sure how much body fat you have. Might have needed less plate fat aka Phinney. Also some bacon have sugar in the curing. Maybe a pound had too many carbs.

No clue, I’m the one who did the bacon challenge And lost 8lbs in one week. Then the second time I lost 5lbs. Weird how it works. My bacon had sugar as well.
Congrats on the weight lost… that’s terrific… I made it only about 3 days …
not sure how much sugar in bacon … but sure affected my weight loss and keto levels…
