Bacon Diet

Mouth watering perfection indeed. But hey, as long as i’m able to reach or get very close to my goal weight by my 1 year keto anniversary and/or put on some nice muscle while eating this deliciously, I’ll be happy lol.

Plus, what if you hated bacon after eating it for a week. I’ve gotten pretty close by eating three lbs a week for a number of weeks. I couldn’t stand the sight of it. Now I’m eating it again but not as much. It’s a too much of a good thing situation. Good luck on your carnivore week!

Good point! Fortunately for me (and my time spent meal prepping), I’m one of those people that doesn’t get tired of eating the same thing over and over.

And thank you!!! I will miss my greens though, I’ve gotten so used to having a side salad or something with my meal, but oh well, experiments are fun, I just hope I see the scale move. I messed up last weekend, gained weight, and barely got back to my pre-mess up weight yesterday, I’d hate to lose out on another week of progress lol

I know the timeline to meet goal weight isn’t nearly important as actually reaching goal weight at some point, but I’ve waited too long to start this journey, I’m just eager to be closer to the finish line

I like bacon but I get tired of eating it every day (as an accompaniment to eggs, for breakfast). I eat bacon maybe 4 times a week now, usually only 2 or 3 strips per serving.

According to Dan Quibell who started it out he weighs out 2 pounds of bacon pre cooking then eats that per day.

I easily shovel in a 1lb of bacon at a sitting, like with the quickness  and I do this often. I may try this “diet” as it sounds p effortless.

@JRS08 “we’ll be doing steak, quite a bit of bacon, and an egg on our OMAD”.
is how I’ve been eating for weeks now since eliminating the cheese and veg. Am dropping weight (going by how I look) and feel amazing. Not weighing until end of the month hoping I’ll be at 110 or below.

That’s great!! Glad to hear that veg elimination has promoted your weight loss. If all goes well with me next week then I might just keep that up

I got these large-size non-stick ceramic baking pans at amazon. They perfectly fit about 10 slices of bacon across them (the pan is large so has to be sideways in the oven). I find if I cook it on the bottom rack which is maybe one inch from the bottom of the oven, it fries it on the bottom as it cooks it on the top, so I don’t have to turn it – creating ‘pan fried’ style/flavor bacon but with oven cooking which is awesome.

I can eat the whole sheet of it. And then I kinda don’t want to think about bacon for quite some time lol. And the massive sodium hit tends to make me bloated for a day or two.

But if you want to make bacon in bulk for a mass-bacon-fest-week, I recommended that kind of pan approach. This is the pan btw
