So I am back. I was MIA since Feb. Life happened. My weight loss was stalled at about 120 pounds down. I started eating crap again. I am ready to start over again.
Back on the wagon
Good for you for not giving up completely! 120lbs is no small number! Welcome Back!
Hey you are back that is the important thing. You know you can do this 120 lbs. OMG, that is awesome.
Just reread the survival guide and keto on…
I think a bit of re-framing here would help. Obviously if you still want to lose some weight try different keto/fasting methods to achieve this.
But rather than thinking “I’ve stalled at 120 lbs down” think “Yay - I’m maintaining 120 lbs down”
120 lbs is an awesome achievement!
Good for you. Welcome back. Get that momentum back because 120lbs is an incredible achievement.
Great to hear you’re taking another run at this. It’s normal to have a break like that if things aren’t working to stay on track. I hope the planets realign for more benefits from real health
Thank you everyone for the words of encouragement. I do know I need to finish the food in the house which will take the rest of the week to go through the stuff that I have to eat to not throw it away but for me to have a target and to get back in the swing is important. And to listen to @richard and @carl again is important because I can directly trace my stopping the Keto diet to when I stopped listening to the podcast, almost to the day.
What kind of “food in the house” are you referring to — good keto-type food or carby/processed crap that you are reluctant to throw out?
Not a matter of reluctantly of throwing out food, more of the fact that carbs are in the house and until payday we must consume what we have to eat. Yes some of it is crap but the crap will either be eaten or thrown out at weeks end when new food is purchased. Some of it is beans and fruit, so not processed crap per say, but not keto friendly either.
Welcome back. 120 lbs is an amazing achievement ! And I have no doubt that you’re going to do great again.
You’re right, the podcast and the forum are a tremendous help. For me, it boosts my motivation.
