Avocado police!

That’s crazy!!! When I was in southern California a couple of years ago, I stopped on the side of the road because there were avocados everywhere. I was then informed if I was not a farmer I would be arrested.

Yes. If you pick up someone’s crop, assume you’ll get caught. Some farmers set up honor boxes at the roadside. In some places, theft is high, so it’s not possible.
