I donât think they mean âprocessed by cowsâ:
đ„ș Artisanal Plant-based Meats and Cheeses - I.E. Frankenfood
Ever wonder why a vegan craves this stuff? Youâd think the very concept would gross them out since itâs emotionally based eating. Plants shaped into products resembling dead animal flesh? The underlying craving for fatty protein that the vegetarian/vegan diet cannot supply met? Such a great thing that the modern world can produce highly processed foods for emotionally challenged suffering vegans so their denial can be a sustainable lifestyle choice.
Careful, we might catch some flak right back from them for chaffles, and keto cupcakesâŠ
Not me @Don_Q , that stuff isnât really part of my food. And they arenât highly processed crap foods like fake meat anyway. Flak away!
I had to Google: Definition of meat after looking at this site. I think theyâre playing fast and loose with this word.
@PetaMarie Technically the original meaning of meat was solid food. It was altered to mean animal flesh later but itâs not too uncommon still to hear the phrase ânut meatsâ. But referring to a concoction of grains, beans, vegetable oil and chemical flavorings as meat is really stretching it, I agree.
Artisanal??
omg they had to hype it up somehow. YUK, just throw a pretty word at it and it makes it rightâŠnot HAHA
too funny and icky at the same time.
