Are there keto podcasts like 2 Keto Dudes that you really like?

I recently got through listening to every single episode of the 2 Keto Dudes thanks to a long commute and a few months. It’s been great, not only because it brought me to this place, but there’s something really compelling about the format, how open and honest Carl :carl: and Richard :richard: are about their experiences, and the great guests they have on the show.

I have tried out a few other podcasts recently to keep things going since I’m now sadly waiting every week for new 2KD episodes, but I haven’t found any that really hit the nail on the head. I want to find something engaging, informative, fun, and thought-provoking.

Is there anything that really fits the bill or do I just have to be patient and instead wait for 2KD episodes every week and go back to my old habit of listening to music in the car?

Got me into podcasts!

Low Carb Down Under has a YouTube channel full of excellent presentations at their various conferences. There is a thread for Low Carb Breckenridge 2018, with some excellent videos.

Carl did 12 episodes with Jason Fung and Megan Ramos
The Obesity Code Podcasts, they’re more on the informative but based on patient experiences.

Leanne Vogel has a podcast show

Keto woman podcast is lovely!
I love 2KD of course, impulse keto podcast is also excellent. Whatever features Dr Fund and Dr Ramos is brilliant.
Also Diet doctor podcast and found my fitnes ( dr Rhonda Patrick) have so much science content.
The Carnivore cast is not bad.

Edit: also Ketogenic Athlete Podcast is interesting.

2kd is the best but I also really like The Keto Answers podcast by Dr. Anthony Gustin, I think his older ones are better, and there’s some good joe rogan ones about keto.

#7

Oops - I kind of assumed that one went without saying but you’re right - by far one of the best :slightly_smiling_face:

Love Rhonda Patrick. She’s easier for me to understand when she’s on joe rogan, but I still try to make out what she’s saying on found my fitness

I listen to some of the podcasts for Fast Keto. I ignore Vanessa’s selling her Keto program and I don’t hesitate to not listen if the topic is not of great interest.

I’ve learned a lot from the Low Carb Cardiologist. But it seems that there haven’t been any recent podcasts of late.

It’s not keto but a great podcast to listen to on a commute is Hello Internet. It’s not food related so it’s not like it’s anti keto or pro carbage. Just an interesting, two guys talking style podcast with good long shows good for long drives/commutes. I’ve tried a couple of the other keto podcasts and find them painful to listen to. Carl and Richard really caught lightening in the bottle with this one.

*I haven’t tried all of the other keto podcasts and I will be giving the ones recommended here a chance. Though especially the ones that try to sell keto and keto accessories I couldn’t recommend listening to on a commute. I’d be frustrated and grumpy by the time I got to work or home from work.

Dr Brett Scher (Low Carb Cardiologist) is now doing the “Diet Doctor Podcast” (as in Andreas Eenfeldt). I really like “Peak Human” podcast by Brian Sanders. “Stem-Talk” also does some great interviews that are health/keto related. They do other subjects as well. I like “Keto Savage”. If you like technical, then Peter Attia has one called “the drive” and there is “Break Nutrition” hosted by Raphael Sirtoli and Gabor Erdos. I also like “Ketogeek” with Fahad Ahmad.

I’m listening to Chris Kresser’s Nutritional Health Radio podcast. Great science base.

I’ve been listening to Keto Talk w Jimmy Moore and the Doc. Lots of questions answered. He also has one on fasting - Fasting Talk w Jimmy Moore and Dr Fung. Great podcasts. Of course 2KD is still my fav

Ketogenicgirl is a good podcast.

I like the ketohacking MD podcast:

Others: The Low Carb Cardiologist podcast; The Keto Answers Podcast.

Well crap, I don’t know if I can find the time to go to work this week - I’m just staying home and gardening, or other tasks that don’t require focus, so I can listen to my huge amount of podcasts.
My boss is on holidays, I’m sure he won’t notice.

Thank you everyone for a lot of great sounding recommendations!

I’m going to start chipping away at them and will report back (my very subjective opinion of) which ones seem to be on the same track as 2 Keto Dudes.

Thanks for mentioning Diet Doctor, I heard about it on Keto Woman’s podcast with Dr. Eenfeldt, but it slipped my mind. I liked the Low Carb Cardiologist for the great info.

The 2Dudes just have a manner about them that makes listening so enjoyable, it is hard to find others after listening to them but for good info I do like ketoevangelist as well.
