Anyone with ms?

I was just curious if anyone here has been following keto with ms. My sister has it and I was wondering if you’ve noticed much of a benefit cognitively. I read a study that suggested ketones may inhibit class 1 HDACs and separately found that one of the drugs they give for ms is made to do that.

I’ve been wondering about it for a little while since I know they’re testing keto for other neurodegenerative diseases but sadly haven’t found much of anything in reference to ms.

Amazes me how they never tried organ meats (grass fed ONLY very important) in MS research and combined it with seaweed (very important) and wheatgrass juice and maybe some non-un-fortified nutritional yeast and a little Chia seed powder? And maybe Low Sugar (natural) to No Sugar (refined) in the diet? And No grains at all? (what causes the problem starts in the gut flora to begin with and is what I call ‘the deadly saw dust’). Always go organic with anything you put in your body if at all possible!

Might reverses immune system from attacking myelin sheath.

Things never cease to amaze me, I mean what could it hurt?

Just a thought!

But then again what do I know?

Thanks for the replies!

I was actually hoping to hear more personal experiences from people that have ms. When you search you mostly see posts on how it could potentially be helpful. There are a couple posts from people who have ms but they seem to be just starting at the time of the post. I didn’t see much of anything pertaining to what I asked.

I like reading the science behind keto in general but I don’t really think I could get her to read it even where it pertains to ms. From what I’ve seen they havent done many ms specific studies just studies on other things that note potential benifits and most of those are probably a bit much for her at the moment. Even telling her about things that ive found im not sure she entirely gets. Personal experiences, though, if people with ms really are seeing good benefits, I think could help her.
