Anyone with BG still high after a while on Keto?

I have been keto for 2 years and am generally pretty strict, I exercise quite a bit. I dropped a lot of weight pretty quickly and stopped around 192, this was without counting calories. I stayed that weight for about 6 months and then all of a sudden it started creeping up and I am 210 now, though a bit of that is muscle from the new-ish exercise volumes. I spent 3 weeks tracking everything, macros on point, calories should have had me dropping weight (not purposely restricting) especially with the exercise. The last few weeks I have started to feel crappy in the mornings like I used to, I checked my BG the last 2 days and there were 117 and 113. I haven’t checked them in a long time but remember in the morning they were still a little high but around 95.

Has anyone had this “reversal” after a while on keto? It seems a lot of people stop losing but I wonder about BG as well. For someone who eats <20g of carbs a day BG going up seems like a problem.

Mine is usually over 100 in the morning. It goes up all day until around noon, then goes down all day until around midnight. This is representative, taken from a continuous glucose monitor:

My morning values are typically a little higher (110 this morning). I have two plus years of blood sugar data, and I’m at about the same in the mornings now as I was then. Maybe I’m slightly higher, but I have more muscle mass now and I’m in better shape. But it’s tough to tell, as a 100% accurate blood glucose meter means it’s within 15% (I think this is plus/minus 15%) of the real value.

I should note my last HbA1c was 5.0. Been on low carb since 1/1/14.
