Anyone heard of the Omni Diet?
Where’s the fat? How is one to be satiated on this diet? Plants and lean meat hasn’t worked in my experience. It isn’t sustainable because you are always miserably hungry.
Omni diet is not Keto. Looks like a type of HCLF diet, which doesn’t work for me. They got it right as far as concentrating on natural, whole foods which is a huge improvement compared to SAD, but too many carbs and not enough fats to make it Keto…or like Keto.
A “lean meat” recommendation is always a huge turn-off to me, because it is based on a false premise that saturate fat from meat is unhealthy and is based on decades of indoctrination using bad science. There is no reason to avoid them, even when trying to lose weight. Fatty meats are satiating and healthy.
I’ll stick with Keto.
Hi Dave!
Agreed! I just found it interesting that this form of low carb diet ignores the importance of healthy fats and even more so that that the Ketogenic diet didn’t even rate mention!
This is completely workable, but you need to add lots of healthy fat when using lean meats. Pour on the olive oil. You may eat these foods if you keep your grams carbs below 20. Make sure you count. You may have quinoa, and beans, but very little due to the carb !limit.
