Anyone having trouble with the new Cronometer update?

Last night Cronometer updated and I couldn’t log in. I used the password reset option and now logged in everything except my settings menu is blank? WTF?
The log in screen says we hope you like the new look…NOT :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I haven’t used cronometer for a month but I just logged on now just fine. I can’t really tell what’s new except the recipe feature is setup differently.

I got in, I hate the new look. They enlarged to top banner where macros and nutritional info is which moved the ad banner to the middle of the page on my phone making a PITA to read your diary and other pages because the ad banner cuts your reading space in the middle. Also less space for what you put in is visible so more scrolling. I suspect this new update was made to be especially annoying to encourage people to buy the gold package. I am considering changing an app I loved because of it, which will suck because it means I will lose a long term picture of what I have been doing and starting from scratch. Why can’t they just not try to fix something that wasn’t broken? Everything is harder to read now. :cowboy_hat_face:

I’m with you, I’m not feeling the new look either. Are you on iPhone, Android, or PC?

Can you export the data if you get a new app? Or do you have to be a gold member?

I use iPhone. The banner seems to have stopped being in the middle of all the pages, maybe they’re still working out the bugs. But the top banner where the macro stuff is shown seems almost twice as big. Which is an unnecessary space hog on a smartphone. It also made me have to go in and change Kg to Lbs again and the time spread in trends. I hope that was all that got reset. They also took away the + icon when you add a food to the diary which makes you have to keep clicking the add food button and shuttling back and forth to enter your food so it takes longer and I suspect if you enter enough foods it will throw an ad at you before you can continue adding. Some of their ads shut down the Amazon Prime Music app when they play so I have to open that app again after an ad about 25% of the time if I am listening to music (always am at cooking time because I love dancing while I cook!).

I’m on Android Crono app every day through the day for the past year. The app is up to date and seems to be working fine. I just checked it in the chrome browser, seems fine. May be because of diferent types of screens there are some variations? I don’t see ads. I think the $35 annual subscription is a good investment
