Anyone ever been SO hungry that you. .

(Alex ) #1

…burned the inside of your mouth eating your dinner, because you haven’t eaten all day and are too hungry, excited and impatient to allow it sufficient time to cool down?

(Doug) #2

Pizza can be pretty good for that.

This was a frequent problem in my pre-keto pizza delivery driving days. If it was busy I ate when I had a mintute and that often meant pizza straight out of the oven. So many blisters :frowning:

(Lazy, Dirty Keto 😝) #4

Uhhh, yeah everyday :joy:

Or bite a part of your mouth you’re chewing so fast and then bite the same part for the next four days? Yes.

#6

Oh I hate that!

(Kristen Ann) #7

Bone broth. All the time.

(Empress of the Unexpected) #8

Many times…

(Alex ) #9

Pizza blisters! intense!

#10

Oh, I HATE THAT!

The less teeth you have, the easier it is to burn when something is too hot. Wish I didn’t know that… :frowning:

I told my dentist I did that a couple of years ago. He said, “everybody’s got to have a hobby”. Cracked me up.

I did that last night with my Cornish hen right out of the Instant Pot. I wanted it “NOW”. :fire::grinning:

#14

uh, yah… lol. Although now it’s just impatience rather than ravenous hunger.

Having worked in kitchens most of my life, I’ve developed the ability to eat food directly out of the oven. Sometimes it literally crackles and sizzles when it hits my saliva.

The only really sensitive area is the roof of my mouth. I haven’t eaten pizza in a while but bubbling cheese would scald that area occasionally. Afterward, there’d be a little piece of loose skin that I could feel with the tip of my tongue. :stuck_out_tongue:

Never had that myself but sure is fun watching gf mouth open trying to exhale all the hot air out cause shes so impatient with the food.
