Any way to go to the end of a thread?

Is there any way to go to the end of a thread, instead of having to page down through sometimes hundreds of posts? Thank you.

On the regular site, you should see this bar on the right side of your screen:image .
Just use it to quickly get to the bottom of the thread. On the mobile version (I can speak for iOS only, not sure if it looks different on Andriod), there is a shaded box at the bottom right corner of the page and if you tap it, the same slider will appear. Does this help? :blush:

I looked at the shortcut menu and there doesn’t seem to be a way. I lose patience using the scroll bar, there are some really long threads. this would be a great idea to add.

If you want to go to the last post in a thread, click on the number that shows how long ago the last post was posted, and you will be taken to that last post.

Do you mean the minutes or number of days number? Can you clarify? I’m clicking on “last reply” at the top but nothing is happening.

To the right of the thread that you want to read you will see how many posts are in the thread. Under that number is the number of minutes (or hours) since the most recent post in the thread. Click on that number.

Okay, I see what you mean, you are at the first post in the thread. I meant when you are on the home page, not already on the thread.

If you are already at the first post in the thread click on the words last reply, see if that takes you to the last reply.

It varies by platform, so responses will probably make more sense to people if the platform being used is mentioned.

If you’re on a desktop, press the “end” key.

Pressing “last reply” works on both a phone and a laptop.

I finally figured out the slider & the “jump” bar not long ago. I was wearing out the right side of my touchpad scrolling! LOL! :joy:

I think this is by design…

It has been shown to add an extra 1 calorie being burned by all the mouse scrolling in one day.

We shouldn’t use the instant click on the last threaded time post option. Let’s burn that finger calorie moving the mouse.

Yeah totally just kidding btw, in case someone wants to know where it shows it burns one calorie. LoL.

On Android, you can touch the number in the bottom right (839/839) which pops up the slider, then touch the initial date at the top of the slider.

Thanks so much! Again, wish I’d figured this out five months ago. Works for iPhone as well.
