Any vegetarians on keto?

Hi
I did the keto vegetarian for 3 weeks and had started IF successfully 8/16, I recently had a setback , ate cookies at a party and I am completely thrown off the track and now it’s been 4 days and I can’t stop snacking and binging… I am hopeless… need to shed 50 pounds , a lot of visceral fat, blood glucose average 8.3…
Wish I could go back to the high energy no hunger state again…:cry:

Don’t give up. This is the hardest it will ever be to get back on the horse, at the beginning. It’s really important, though, to get back on track sooner than later. Can you commit to yourself to start eating better tomorrow? We’ll be your cheerleaders.

Cook a couple of delicious HFLC meals, enough for leftovers. Eat until you’re absolutely full. When you get a craving for junk, eat some more of the food you’ve already prepared. Eat until you’re full. Repeat for a few days. It’s easier not to give in to cravings when you’ll full. Eventually, they’ll go away.

Are there any temptations in your house? If so, toss them. As aforementioned in the thread, the beginning is the hardest, and I can vouch for most of us here: We’ve all gone through it, but it only sucks for a brief amount of time. If you want to shed those 50 pounds, then you need to commit to your goals and know that it’s totally worth it in the long haul.

Get after it and treat this setback as a learning point.

I agree with @4dml. Cook some irresistible keto grub and eat to your heart’s content (be only mindful of carbs for now, but it’s ok to go a little over on them until you’re on track and confident). It’s much better to go a little over your carbs with good keto food than to binge on high carb foods. I learned this by experience when I started my journey.
