I’m just hitting 48 hours of a fast. Usually, I’m grouchy and counting the minutes by now in my previous attempts but I’m feeling pretty great right now. I decided I still require my fasting ‘training wheels’. I require a cup of coffee in the morning with some cream, and a pellegrino with some lemon juice. Hoping to remove the training with some practice in the next couple of months. Any newbies out there with the same issues??? I see some enlightened fasting warriors on this site…

I keep reminding myself that i want the maximum autophagy benefit, that’s why I’m doing this. I envision little collectors who look sort of like Mario, with little white trashbags, gathering up all my body’s “recyclables”. I envision my fat cells shrinking. And yeah, somewhere around day three I told Mario he could take a break and had a cup of 5 calorie chicken broth, which tasted like manna from heaven.
