Any feedback on my data?

#1

This is the period from my first blood test to today. I’m just curious if anyone has any comments/feedback. The levels have been dropping, from very surprisingly high to kind of “in the zone”.

I do this, with IF daily, at about a 20:4 or even a 21:3. I also had a rather large cheat day on the 12th (estimate nearly 60 grams of carbs, which is about 4x my normal daily amount), but it does not seem to have changed much.

I feel pretty good, although I seem to have much more energy in the AM than after feeding. I’m probably at “ideal weight” now, for about a month. I am doing this mostly for anti-inflammatory protection and autophagy reasons, although weight loss since the summer was also a motivator.

Greatly appreciate any feedback.

Keep up the good work. The trend is definitely in the right direction!

Do you have any idea what your HbA1C is these days?

This is blood glucose, and not ketones?

(Bron) #4

Ah - When I click on your file I see it is marked ketones…

(bulkbiker) #5

What data is this exactly? Ketones or Blood glucose levels?

(Garry (Canada)) #6

What data is this exactly?

mmol/L glucose.
x18 for mg/dL
example 5.6 = 100

Sorry all. It’s ketones, not glucose. I do measure glucose from time to time, but only as a curiosity as I have no trouble there. It’s usually between 75 and 95 (US measure).

No, I don’t know that at present.

Yuki, lowering inflammation should work well, not eating carbohydrates, but protein is the most potent inhibitor of autophagy - fasting is what really gets autophagy going.

Thank you Doug. I’m usually keeping protein around 25%, rarely higher than 30%.
