Stories like that one annoy me, because they don’t discuss a really important factor which is the dose or amount.
Of course, it’s not to their advantage to discuss the amount, because if they keep it vague, it’s scarier. That’s not science, it’s click-bait.
Yes, it’s possible that the chemicals they discuss are dangerous in the wrong quantities. But the article doesn’t provide sufficient information (assuming it’s even known) about what safe levels might be.
Still not planning on having a fast food binge anytime soon.
