Does anyone know how this study was done?
Another dietary study
Its the one based on food surveys from 1989 and 1995 then extrapoalted for 25 years with a “Low Carb” diet being one with 37% of calories from carbs. It has been taken apart by just about everyone in the world as being an appalling badly carried out study. Average calories (according to the survey were 1600 per day i.e. starvation) and was compiled by a load of WFPB vegans) from Harvard.
Need I say more?
Thanks, they made it sound like a different one that is why I asked. I have read all the articles poo-poohing it.
There are in fact very few real studies but they all seem to get reported in slightly different ways which makes it very hard to figure out exactly which one is being discussed. Also the fact that most studies are hidden behind paywalls means the articles never get properly referenced to the actual published work which is another pain. I tend to look for the authors names which can be a big clue… in this case Seidelmann…
Hope that helps a bit.
A great help, ta. I was surprised that yet another study had been done so quickly and they cite 3 so easy mistake to make.
