Analysis of Pink Salt

(CharleyD) #21

From Dr Nasha’s book, just got through this last night and the plastics are at the top!

I’m a bit leery about sea salt too, but not because of the plastic or mercury or that kind of stuff. I’m more concerned about fish s**t. I mean can you imagine the size of a whale’s turd ? And sharks, and what about walruses ? Crivens, the oceans aren’t far off being cess pools. Nah, nah, I’ll stick to the Himalayan stuff .

I see what you did there Gnome!

A lot of plastics, especially older ones, have estrogen mimicking compounds in them.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #25

In particular BPA which was actually developed as an estrogen replacement, but they found it also help rigidify plastics.

I have used the pink Himalayan salt for a few years now and recently went back to plain old NaCl. What i really dislike about Himalayan salt is the pile of gritty rocks that is left behind in the bottom of a bowl of soup. It grosses me out when i get sand in my mouth full of food. And then it occurred to me one day that you really can’t get any purer or cleaner salt than sodium chloride, the stuff that comes in the cheap dollar fifty salt container. But I am a purist at heart, I only drink distilled water that I have distilled myself and has rested in glass for several days. I figure the cleaner the water the better.

I think I’ve had a version of that in a restaurant once. Only it was called “catch of the day”
