Hey guys I just wanted to share this article that came up on my news feed, I thought it was interesting. https://www.treehugger.com/health/canadian-physicians-say-its-time-low-carb-high-fat-food-guide.html
An article that came up on my news feed
AWESOME SAUCE! Brave bunch of Canuck physicians speaking out in support of keto, citing Hallberg and her peers! The noise level is rising!
Canadians have one huge roadblock in here. To quote the article:
“What the Canadian doctors want to see is fairly straightforward:” …
“Cease the advice to replace saturated fats with polyunsaturated, refined vegetable oils”
One very-heavily invested word: Canola.
Hey, @CandyLindTX, no swearing, especially that c-word LOL so frustrating how many thing have that ingredient. That and the other one…the s-word…soy.
I think the other major road block is the lobbyist that are controlling the government’s. Trying to change policies in order to raise there bottom line.
That’s what I was getting at with the canola reference. Canada grows the vast majority of the world’s canola. It’s got to have a gigantic lobby. I would liken their canola fields to the poppies in The Wizard of Oz … gorgeous golden fields full of poison.
Sorry I didn’t get the reference . But yea living in Canada I see canola fields every where, sometimes as far as the eye can see
