Hey guys I just wanted to share this article that came up on my news feed, I thought it was interesting. https://www.treehugger.com/health/canadian-physicians-say-its-time-low-carb-high-fat-food-guide.html

AWESOME SAUCE! Brave bunch of Canuck physicians speaking out in support of keto, citing Hallberg and her peers! The noise level is rising! :raised_hands: :+1:

Canadians have one huge roadblock in here. To quote the article:

“What the Canadian doctors want to see is fairly straightforward:” …
“Cease the advice to replace saturated fats with polyunsaturated, refined vegetable oils”

One very-heavily invested word: Canola.

Hey, @CandyLindTX, no swearing, especially that c-word LOL  so frustrating how many thing have that ingredient. That and the other one…the s-word…soy. :frowning:

I think the other major road block is the lobbyist that are controlling the government’s. Trying to change policies in order to raise there bottom line.

That’s what I was getting at with the canola reference. Canada grows the vast majority of the world’s canola. It’s got to have a gigantic lobby. I would liken their canola fields to the poppies in The Wizard of Oz … gorgeous golden fields full of poison.

Sorry I didn’t get the reference :slightly_smiling_face:. But yea living in Canada I see canola fields every where, sometimes as far as the eye can see
