I am doing my part for America.

I few years ago there was a massive shortage of butter in Scandinavia. Hope it doesn’t happen in the US.

I think I am… I’m mostly eating Irish Kerrygold Butter - does that count?

My use of butter in the last six months has gone up 1000%, we use which ever store brand is on sale… Prices fluctuate like crazy… but we buy when cheap in bulk…

It takes a long time, but more and more becomes mainstream. I increased my butter consumption big time when I first started Keto in 2012.
I remember when coconut oil was something that had to be ordered online (well for those of us not in large cities anyway) and now there are multiple brands available even in Walmart.

I’m doing my part for Ireland, I guess. Kerrygold was just on sale.

Good quality butter is more than just a condiment, it’s a nutritious food as well.

Here’s an oldy-but-a-goodie from Sally Fallon and Mary Enig:

i still order mine online, I buy coconut oil by the gallon from Amazon, can catch it on sale for 15 cents an ounce for the Nutivia Organic refined…

Twice in the last three weeks I have been to Gordon Food Service (a.k.a GFS) to purchase butter, and it’s been sold out. Completely. Even at the warehouse, according to the manager.

A GFS-brand single pound of salted butter in a block (which means…shudder…you must cut the block into sticks yourself) for all of $2.99 U.S. Mind you they did have Land O’Lakes four quarter-pound sticks for $5.00. No thanks, still got two GFS at home!
