Am I the only one?

Am I the only one that wants to see a “Biggest Loser” Keto edition?

Can you imagine… no trainers, no workouts, no sweating. Just weeks of bacon, sausage, butter and veggies.

Actually… now that I think about… it sounds kinda boring.

I think I’d still watch, just to see the dr. reaction to their testing results.

This could be a problem because advertisers pay for our TV programs. Do you see who the advertisers are?
Maybe a PBS special, or something that is not industry funded. Great idea though.

#3

Can you imagine another Jillian-type trainer screaming “eat you bacon, c’mon, no excuses, if you don’t drink that melted butter, I will come there and shove it down your throat…”

I think I will pass on the Big Loser type television show. While it seemed like a CICO televised program, it was actually a fat-shaming, bullying show that exposed the evil of human nature.

I would love to see a low cal vs low carb type of biggest loser. I think it’d be awesome to bring keto into the spotlight. Plus it would be hilarious to see the naysayer’s reactions when it works.

I think the person who fasts will win. No longer a contest.

(David) #6

There was a diet program called “my diet is better than your diet” where they compared 6 different diet approaches. Abel James’ wild diet, which is largely a lchf diet card really well.

(Dustin Cade) #7

I think the idea that fat makes you thin could get people to watch… Would probably cause a big stink…

(David) #8

Probably the ketones.

(Mike Glasbrener) #9

Fasting along with cardio… if anyone has ever watched “Naked and Afraid” there’d be no doubt fasting wins. Most people in 21 days lose 20-35lbs.

(James storie) #10

Yep, if they would’ve based the winner on fat loss as opposed to percentage of body weight lost, Able would have won! I was already keto at this point and was cheering them on! And pointing out to my family that I was right! Hahaha!

(David) #11

Can you remember which one won. Was it the “safe and sexy” diet?

(James storie) #12

I think so, it wasn’t the diet that won for that contestant, she was just so focused on winning that she pushed through. I’d like to see an update on her now. I listen to Able’s podcast from time to time and I’ve heard him mention that Kurt is still doing great.

(Jennie) #13

This would be hilarious! I mean, it would work, but could you imagine the public outcry? Even with all the science telling us fat is fine, people would lose their minds!
Good one. I will be laughing about this all day.
Maybe WE should all make a movie.

the “diet coach” that drove me bananas (and i wasn’t sad at all when she was traded out) was the lady that was like 'just do a squat before you walk up the stairs and add extra moves to your vacuuming and laundry" ;barf:

(David) #15

That was funny. The clean momma plan.

#16

That lady was a complete lunatic! And what about the guy who thought changing the color of the contestant’s sheets would cause weight loss? I thought Kurt and the wild diet did win, didn’t he lose like 80#? It’s been a while since I watched that.

(Sandra Watson) #17

That was funny, they called him a cheater for Intermittent fasting, That was great. If he had been a “tiny” more keto - no fruits, he may have won - it was close!
