I also stopped having caffeine and l carnitine today maybe that’s why I had so much energy today.

Glad to see you are getting a hand on it Jeffryan. I did a 16/8 fast again yesterday but ate a bit more than I usually do but still well under my macros. I only got 5 net carbs but did well with my protein with 79g. I feel really good after getting my morning black coffee (16/8 fasting stops after 10am).

How do you know what kind of foods you are craving? I’ve never been good at working it out.

Groversaurus, it’s whatever sounds good. When you look in the refrigerator or pantry it’s what looks like it will hit the spot. It’s not the ‘I’m bored and I feel like eating something’ feeling, it’s more the ‘I really could go for some eggs right now’ feeling.

cheers @kcfricke, not sure I can decipher what it is that will satisfy me.

I just went to the fridge, and ended up with a cup of boullion and nomming on a couple of spoons of coconut oil, and that seems to have done the trick.

Good choice. When in doubt, fat and/or salt usually does the trick.

Me either David. I am going to have to work on getting my protein up to 60. Disappointed that I did not make it again today. I tried but will need to work on foods higher in protein.

I’ve got a question, I know this post was a year ago, but I’ve been fasting just like this but when I eat around 10, I’m full quickly, and am just not hungry all the rest of the day. I try to balance what I’m eating, lots of fats, mod protein, with leafy greens in that one meal to get my vitamins, but I wonder if I’m eating enough? Surely I’d notice somehow, right?
