Am I dumb?

newbies

So I downloaded myfitnesspal and I am not seeing a place to indicate you are on the keto diet? Is it not designed for that or am in missing something?

TIA!

IMHO, MFP is a POS.

I use Cronometer, others use other apps, some - who aren’t smart enough to use apps (cough @Baytowvin cough) - just eat meat get around it.

No you are right I don’t think that my fitness pal has such a Settings. I think Chronometer does though.

Yay! I love it when I’m not as dumb as I think:) thanks guys and gals

You have to change the macro defaults. Go to Nutrition under More. Tap on Macros top right.
Where it shows goal for Carbs, protein and fat, tap on each. This will allow you to reset them.

Chronometer has three keto settings, Rigorous (20 carbs max), Moderate (40 carbs max) and relaxed (50 carbs max.) I like chronometer because it takes all the guesswork out.

Thanks everyone. I downloaded it and I like it!

Which was the winner?

(Jennie Greene) #9

Chronometer:)

We are kinda half MyFitnessPal and half Chronometer here. The free version of Chronometer had ads that drove me nuts after five minutes, so I pay 3.99 per month to have it ad-free on my phone. Once you get used to it and love it, $40 for the year has some great added features. Let us know if you need help or have any questions.

Kinda like going veggie to keep Kosher?? Been there, done that. It’s called cheating…

Thanks regina! Will do!

And you can also set up your amounts yourself as well.
