Allulose in Australia

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, though I used to be quite a regular around these parts. 4 years LCHF now.

A couple of visits home to Australia ago, at KetoFest 2018 in Canberra, @richard and @carl introduced me to allulose. Since I was living in the US, it was a trivial matter to just order the stuff on Amazon and have it sent to my apartment.

Now as circumstances would have it, I find myself suddenly living in Australia again, for who knows how long. And I’m running out of the last of my allulose.

Can anyone recommend a good source to have it shipped here? Are any of you using it on the regular? Tell me everything.

So you need me to rip the head off a teddy bear, fill it with Allulose and mail that “birthday present” to you? I’m only half joking though, PM coming with my real answer.

There are plenty of options on eBay. I don’t think I’ve found it in Brick and Mortar before.

I haven’t found it anywhere before, sorry. I did look awhile ago when at the peak of my keto icecream phase, to no avail.

I am not sure of the international postage routes these days. I use i-herb out of the US to get my melatonin for helping me sleep after night shift, am worried my ‘supply chain’ will be COVID effected and goodness knows I don’t want to go to my GP to get a prescription for the overpriced melatonin here.

@lfod14 Ifod14, any room in that teddy bear to smuggle in 120 pills of melatonin along with that allulose? What could go wrong? White powder and some pills hidden in a plush toy…nothing suss at all :smiley:

That’s terrible you need a prescription for friggen Melatonin! Always weird when things that are over the counter supplements here need prescriptions in other places. I mean TECHNICALLY it’s hormone but c’mon. It’s melatonin!

I know! It’s insane. The prescription melatonin here is 2mg slow release too- so pretty useless and I wake up fuzzy headed. 10mg immediate result is my jazz - out like a light and wake up feeling fresh as a daisy
