Tip: Don’t take a 300ml tub of coconut oil through airport security. They won’t let it through because it might melt and become oily.
I thought after that if the oil is melting then there is something worse happening on the plane for me to worry about than a bit of liquid in my case.
Thankfully they left my bacon and cheese alone.
You think that’s bad. I once had a bottle of Black Label Jameson taken off me at JFK despite being on a connecting flight AND being in a sealed duty free bag. TSA are too scary to argue with. So long Jameson.
