Oh the facepalm…
When my dad was in his late 30s and early 40s, he followed Atkins and they called it “the pilots’ diet.” It seems we will never learn and history repeats itself yet again…
Of course it’s cost-effective, carbs are cheap!

Ummm… I’m wondering how they could possibly enforce that ? Id eat whatever the heck I wanted to eat…
@FishChris My dad told me they were served first or business class meals (depending on the flight and number of passengers in first class) so he was free to mix and match. He could also bring his own food, but he never complained over the meals served. I remember he once had an apple on the plane and put the plastic bag back into his briefcase, forgetting all about it - he had a little run in with the food-sniffing beagle, he jumped on his briefcase.
