I binged tonight. Nothing i wasn’t suppose to eat but far to much of anything i could eat. Shark week and emotions won tonight. My soul is trying to settle with something in life my head and heart won’t let me forget.
I was binge free for 44 days…

I did too, keto food too- same reasons!
So destructive and always makes things worse. Keto has been helping me so much with my emotional binging issues.
Back on the horse!! :)
I have hungry days, from time to time. It’s a different sensation from the sugar cravings that are always more-or-less with me, and I don’t worry about it. The number of calories we eat will quite naturally vary with the body’s needs, and one of the things I love about the ketogenic way of eating is that it has freed me from calorie-counting. Some days, I’m just not hungry, so I don’t eat much, other days I am, so I eat.
The direction that the scale moves doesn’t seem to have anything to do with how much I’ve been eating, sometimes up when I haven’t been eating and down when I have, sometimes the opposite. And even though my weight fluctuates from day to day, it has stayed within the same ten-pound range for several months. (Guess I’m at my Phinney weight, sigh—was hoping to lose more.) I don’t consider it a binge, as long as it’s protein and fat—if I overdo it on carbohydrate, however, that’s a binge!
Keto binges are good… just reinforcing the reset of the neural pathways.
KCKO
You’re better than me. I binged on (redacted) for (redacted) days, several times throughout my first Keto year, and maintained a 50 lb weight loss.
