A parents dream for their child

(Becky) #1

I know I’m not alone in my thinking when I say that as a parent, we want the best for our kids. We want them to be honest, hard working and a positive light in the world. We hope they do better than us and we want them to grow up to become whatever they dream to be…doctors, lawyers, artists etc etc. Well, I lucked out with my son, he has always had a dream, one that I encouraged but never thought much about…until I started this WOE…my son got his dream job…he’s a Butcher!!! And he just dropped off so much yummy beef for his momma!!! Like, seriously, I could not have picked a better job for him :joy: I gotta say, it has its perks! When he butchers beef he takes the trimmings from the steaks and briskets and makes me special, as he calls it “keto ground beef”! He’s so awesome!! I mean he’s a great kid anyways, just greater when he brings me meat lol!

Or you could have titled this : A KETO Parents Dream Child.
Congratulations :purple_heart::joy: I’m just a bit jealous but I’m really happy for you!

That is really really great!! Is he doing Keto as well?

I want to adopt him :rofl:

@CrackerJax

Had you asked six months ago I’d probably have signed the paperwork but at this point I have to decline lol!
After all the money I have spent on him for shoes, (he wears a size 17, you aren’t finding those at your local foot locker lol) I think I’ll accept his repayment in fresh meat!

Wow, is he really tall?? That is astounding, I didn’t even know that they make shoes that size.

(Doug) #7

Butchers. :slightly_smiling_face::+1: And size 17 shoes… Dang… :astonished:

Lol @Momof5

I didn’t know either, they have to be special ordered. When he was playing basketball in high school they all had to have matching shoes, his senior year the coach just kept apologizing because he knew the hoops I had to jump through to get his. The bad thing is, even though they were the same shoes, his looked totally different! He is 6’5, 245 lbs, my kids are polar opposites because my daughter is seven and not quite 4’ and if we weigh her after she stuffs herself she may weigh 30 pounds lol.

PS…to put a size 17 into perspective, when we got those basketball shoes in I placed them on the box that the Monopoly game comes in and they hung over both sides of the box lol!

Oh wow!! That is so big.
